What is poaching?
It is the illegal trafficking and killing of wildlife. Some are even sold as trophies or “folk medicines” It is technically considered a criminal offense and some people still proceed with harming animals, despite the laws which include local, state, federal, and international laws. These stop people from poaching. Both endangered and non-endangered animals can be poached, meaning at risk and less likely to be at risk. This includes animals such as elephants, tigers, rhinos which are more at risk and small animals such as monkeys, rabbits, and birds who are less at risk.
